IV Sedation
Burns Dental holds an IV Sedation Permit and offers IV sedation as an option for more complex procedures. Patients remain responsive during treatment while entering a deeply relaxed state, and local anesthesia is used separately for pain control.
Wisdom Teeth
Burns Dental is known for removing impacted wisdom teeth and has been performing wisdom tooth extractions since 1976. The practice uses IV sedation for impacted wisdom tooth removal. We address your concerns in detail before your scheduled procedure.
Oral Sedation
Under the direction and advice of the doctor, oral sedatives may be used to reduce dental anxiety before a procedure. Our care providers will provide recommendations about sedation options depending on the patient's anxiety and treatment instructions.

Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide provides a mild level of relaxation delivered through a comfortable mask. It takes effect within a few minutes, and its effects generally wear off within about five minutes after your procedure. Our care providers provide advice and answer patient questions during your consultation.
Select Oral
Procedures & Surgery
Burns Dental uses IV sedation for impacted wisdom teeth, full-mouth extraction cases for immediate dentures, and gum surgery. Sedation is incorporated into your treatment plan for your comfort during more complex treatments.
Comfortable Accommodation
Burns Dental goes beyond sedation to make the environment more comfortable. The practice offers blankets, weighted blankets, head cushions, and a choice of music. Patients may also bring their own headphones or earbuds. Other accommodations can be discussed before your appointment.
From routine treatment to wisdom teeth removal and more complex procedures, Burns Dental offers personalized sedation options to help you feel comfortable and at ease.
Every detail is thoughtfully considered so you can receive the care you need with greater confidence and peace of mind.
